Yoga for Change will take place at Grace Cathedral, 1100 California Street in San Francisco (between Taylor and Jones). Please find directions and parking information here.
Not a problem! The class will be gentle enough for people of all levels. Modifications to the poses are offered to increase or decrease difficulty.
Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows for easy movement. Layers are great, as the cathedral can be rather cool.
A water bottle, yoga mat or any props that you might use for your yoga practice.
We will have a very limited supply of yoga mats available. However, your best bet is to bring your own or borrow one from a friend!
Yes! Children of all ages are welcome to attend the yoga class, provided they are directly supervised by a parent or guardian. Please bring a quiet way to entertain your child, such as a coloring book, so that you can continue to practice if your child becomes tired.
Thank you! You can make a donation to The Community Preschool here. All proceeds fund scholarships for students from the Tenderloin or other at-risk neighborhoods.
Thank you! Please contact us at development@gracecathedral.org or (415) 749-6352 for more information.
Volunteer opportunities are available for the evening of Thursday, September 28. Please email us with your contact information, and we will get back to you in the coming weeks.
We'd love to hear from you! Please email development@gracecathedral.org for all other questions.
